How much would you charge a friend for rent if...?

I own a house that I would normally charge someone $1300-1400 rent to live in. If I live in it and get a roommate, how much should I charge her?

Are you sure that you want a roommate?? Your best bet would to rent a room to someone with kitchen privileges. Make sure that you know who you are putting into your house; I have heard of some sad stories of regrets.

Do not rent to friends or family. you WILL regret it eventually. Rent it out as room with kitchen privileges, etc. DO not rent to friends or family
