seriously, what do you think a day is like for the magicman. He seems to always have answered a question within the last 20 minutes and as if by magic they are mostly right.
SO. ten points to the answer that best descibes what a day must be like if you're the magicman.
if you ARE the magicman your answer will be judged the same as everyone elses.
good luck!

Leah you cant seriously think that ANYONE would have something bad to say about the magicman. i just wanted to see how many people think like me that he lives in a room in the back of seaworld (the main display pool is the "pond he has" that he sometimes referes to). That he needs to boat to his pet shop and that secret surgery was done on him to replace his hands with octopus arms so he could answer questions faster. but then again what do i know, these answers are facinating!

Magicman rolls out of bed, with fish on the brain... He walks to the kitchen, peers into his 500 tanks as he sips his coffee (he drinks decaff). After a shower in his 50,000 gallon fish tank, he suits up, and is off to work. While at work, he has automated himself so that all he has to do is repeat general fish knowledge. Walking down the hall, he says to himself, "ammonia, nitrite, nitrate. tropical communities should be balanced and peaceful with weekly maintenance...". After a long day of work, MM comes home to his 500 fish tanks. There he reads the paper (but only thinks of fish). MM is actually a robot, so, he simultaneously answers questions on Y!A while performing his daily routine. As he sleeps, he listens to the CD Saltwater for Dumbies to further improve his ability to aid people with their fish. After a good sleep, he wakes up and repeats.

All above statements are fully opinions that do not, in any way, reflect the true life of Magicman.

Soop Nazi

After reading MM's little "threat", I hid under my desk in the fetal position for 45 minutes... ;D

Well, the key to understanding Magicman's daily routine is that he is, in fact, magic.

Thus:

In the morning, Magicman gets out of bed and says hi to his first clone, who has been sitting at the computer all night answering Y!A questions with 100% precision and accuracy. He then walks out of his room to visit his legions of fish and makes sure that all are in good health. (They all are.)

Once that is done, he eats his breakfast while carrying out complex debates with all the bigshots in the fish-world whom he is on a first-name basis with (I have never seen someone recommend a site without Magicman saying something like "That is an excellent site; granted, I have had differences with Bob/Tom/Matthew on the treatment of reallycomplicatedillness-itis in the past".)

He says goodbye to Clone #1 (which, as we have established, is on Y!A helping us plebes out) and is off to work. During the work day his face constantly assumes the expression of his Y!A avatar as he dispenses advice and anecdotes about keeping fish.

Clone #2, in the meantime, is in a high-tech, top-secret laboratory in the Himalayas doing research on new species of fish of which the world has never heard.

well magicmans real name is Arthur Curry, the son of Tom Curry, a lighthouse keeper, and Atlanna, a water-breathing outcast from the lost, underwater city of Atlantis. Due to his heritage, Aquaman (magic man) discovered as a youth that he possessed various superhuman abilities, including the powers of surviving underwater, communication with sea life, answering a million questions on YA daily, and tremendous swimming prowess. Eventually, Arthur decided to use his talents to become the defender of the Earth's oceans, first starting a career as "Aquaboy," and meeting Superboy (Earth's only other superpowered hero at the time) on one occasion . When Arthur grew up, he called himself "Aquaman." AKA magicman

Tom Curry met and married an ordinary human woman and had a son named Orm Curry, Aquaman's half-brother. Orm grew up as a troubled youth in the shadow of his brother, who constantly bailed him out of trouble with the law. He grew to hate Aquaman not only for the powers that he could never possess but also because he knew that their father would always favor Aquaman. Orm disappeared after becoming an amnesiac and would resurface years later as Aquaman's arch-nemesis, Ocean Master.

So aside from magically answering all these questions on YA, he also spends his days batteling supervillians of the sea. Quite an intense life but, it is truely magical the abilities of that man.

I know the real truth, the no tinsel and lights truth. Magic man is actualy named Hubert, is 52, and still lives in his parents' basement. His mother cooks for him every night and gives him everything he could ever want. Since he gets free room and board and anything else he wants (being favored by mom of course), he only works if he feels like it. Since his only hobby ever has been keeping fish, he has had plenty of time to learn everything there is to know about them. Now he teaches about them occasionaly to cure his boredom with the monatany of life. Otherwise he sits at his computer all day answering questions on Y!A. He is a simple man who has devoted his entire life to fish. He has never had a need for the hassles of a wife and kids as his mother and his fish are everything he ever wanted.

At least that is what the private eye told me. ;)

We are Magicman.

Resistance is futile.

Other activities are irrelevant.

Species 5618 will be assimilated.

Your fish will be assimilated.

Your tanks will be assimilated.

End of transmission.

Not very nice to tease...Magicman has helped me with many of my fish problems and I'm glad he's around. What business is it of yours anyway? Is your day that fascinating?
