I was able to read by 3.. although I wasn't that great with the alphabet.. (I'm dyslexic, and learned how to read using speed reading techniques that no one really knows where I learned).. but, it is pretty rare.. So, I'd say it's way above average.. my nephew was reading seriously by the time he was 5.. but, he went from not knowing how to read to being at a junior high school reading level in about a year.. It's really just different for everyone... I don't read aloud that well, never did.. but I was reading Stephen King in 3rd grade and understood it..
The only thing I would tell you to add (if it's not already there) is comprehension.. You could read at four, and understood it.. but did you really know what was going on?.. Could you see it in your head?.. If they asked you about it 10 minutes later did you remember the story?.. Just things that might give more depth into it. Good Luck!

I would say above average. Most children don't truly start reading until the age of six, or in first grade. The fact that you read "The Cat in the Hat" and comprehended it at such a young age shows that you had a good grasp of what it means to be a reader at age 4. At age five, when most children are content to simply listen to stories, you were actually READING the classics...that is pretty impressive!
KEEP READING and good luck on your essay. It sounds like you are well on your way to a great future!

Yes, I would say it is above average since most kids start reading at the age of 5. I'm a big reader too. I started reading at the age of 3. I guess it would depend on the parents and how well they would encourage their kids to read instead of watch tv.

This is above average. However many parents don't bother even trying to teach their kids this young so early reading starts are usually not any big advantage by the time a student gets to college. as all the students who get into college are above the average of those who go into kindergarten

thrilling! i think of mate selection is evolutionary. does no longer it make extra experience to elect a companion which will supply for you, and the family contributors? while shifting up the ladder of existence, one ought to continually look up, no longer down. while you're a properly knowledgeable lady, possibilities are high, you will marry somebody who's certainly knowledgeable too. while you're center-type, you opt to marry somebody who's problematic working and proportion the comparable values as you do... while you're a legal expert and marry somebody that works in McDonald's, for sure the flexibility dynamics interior the relationship would be unbalanced and maximum probable, it is going to create issues interior the destiny. wealthy adult males marry "poorer" lady each and every of the time, yet in this present day in age, a good number of wealthy adult males are going for women who're college knowledgeable and expert... i think of those wealthy adult males opt to get far flung from the gold diggers... sturdy question nevertheless!
