it is 35.55555555555556
because
To convert Fahrenheit temperatures into Celsius:
Begin by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit number.
Divide the answer by 9.
Then multiply that answer by 5.
To convert Celsius temperatures into Fahrenheit:

n Fahrenheit = (n-32)*(5/9) Celcius
96 F = (96 -32)*(5/9)
= 64 * (5/9)
= 35.56 C

Here's a really neat way
96F
add 40, =136
Multiply by 5/9, =75.6
Subtract 40, =35.6C
This algorithm is based on the fact that at -40,C=F
Since C is smaller in value than F, Multiply by 5/9.
If you were going from C to F, multiply by 9/5
Add 40. Mult. by 5/9 or 9/5, subtract 40. That's all.

Celsius = (Fahrenheit - 32) / 1.8
Celsius = (96-32) / 1.8
Celsius = 64 / 1.8
Celsius = 35.5
