in your opinion why you think my manager is trying to transfer me to another store?

i want to ask your opinion, well i work in one of the department at my store, this is the second time the store manager talked to me about if i want to be transfered to another store (stores location suggested by him), he says we chose qualify worker to send them to stores. but i don't trust everything he says.

i respect all your opinions & i will read all the opinions. tell me about his motivation of sending me to another store? and why i am the only one in my department who is being asked to do this?

Could this lead to a promotion? Could he be threatened by you feeling that you could get his job and he doesn't want to deal with that threat? Hard to say. You have reasons you don't trust him. Have you asked people who know this guy?

I agree that at first it seems like he is just trying to get rid of you. But you would know if your manager likes you or not. Also would he send one of his staff that he didn't consider to be a good worjer to another store? Would he want other managers to say his staff are not good? It depends on the store. Is it a busier store? Maybe he has gone over budget with wages and needs to cut wages down. If another store needs an employee this would be a perfect opportunity.

read your last performance appraisal, find out if someone else is trying to transfer in to your department, find out if your store seems to be doing well, and then you'll know. If you don't get a good feeling about him, or if you know your performance is crappy, then you have your answer. Who knows, you may like the other store better.

He either thinks that you are really good at what you do and thinks this other store would benefit from having you.......OR....he thinks you suck and he is passing you off to be someone elses problem.
