I believe the earth is heating up, but I also believe is has always heated and cooled. If it hadn't heated up in the past, we would still be in an ice age and that was long before humans had enough numbers to cause it. It will cool again in the future.

I agree with Lorre W, the earth might be undergoing some climate changes, but the idea that humans (particularly automotives) have contributed to altering the climate of a planet thousands of years old in less than a hundred years is absurd.

Yes - I believe there are too many cold people on this planet who need warmth. I am ready to take up a collection for electric blankets. Please send all donations to me and you can trust me to get all the warmers we need! Do they have electricity at the North Pole?

Oh - wait a minute! You mean warming of our fragile planet due to greenhouse gases and fluorocarbons? Oh! Never mind!

Yes, but I believe it is caused by those Brazillians who are destroying the rain forest. They burn the trees and plant and plant 2 crops of rice on the land, then no other plants grow there. The big fires make CO2, then there are fewer plants to take CO2 out of the atmosphere.

Yea, well that's al gore. But there is a lot of convincing evidence that something is going on. Zoo plankton is dying off, water is warming up, the ice caps are melting....I'd say it's true.
