Follow a hi-fiber diet and maintain regularity.
Breakfast: Total (wheat grain) for example, Cheerios, Oat Bran, Oatmeal.
Lunch: sandwich made with whole grain bread - wheat, oatmeal.
Dinner: include a salad.
Snacks: fresh fruit - on many fruits you can eat the skin -- peaches, apples. pears...
If you try to eat near the same time everyday and include these foods in your diet, you will find nature taking its course daily. Just be sure to allow time for it - don't eat and run out of the house.

For me and for most people who used it, Virgin Coconut Oil. Take 1-2 Tablespoons in the morning and 1-2 Tablespoons in the evening. It will give you regular bowel movements and at the same time cleanse your system.

Liquid chlorophyll is a good colon cleanser.
Besides that you need to improve your diet. More fruit and vegies and bread, cereals and muesli and pasta, potatoes and nuts.
Red meat is the worst and may even give you colon cancer and eggs are no good eiter. Fish is better than chicken.
