I just saw a "question" that wanted people to rate her and her friends and I think it's a bit dangerous :) (especially if U're under 18) :)

I think so to. A person can take one of your pictures, and put something inappropriate to it. Which can affect your interviews at jobs when they search your name. It's very dangerous. Plus if the person that's sees it, like some smart person, like the person from national treasure, (haha) lol, they could probably track you down and stalk you. You are VERY right. =)

Like the old saying goes....don't talk to strangers...never take candy from strangers...never get into a car with a stranger..were made for good reason....and the internet is no exception. Posting revealing information and revealing pictures is just like doing everything these old sayings tell you not to do. It's very dangerous! There are no safeguards on the internet. And there is nothing to protect you when you just put it out there for everyone to see! Use common sense don't do it!

It makes more sense to not do it at all, I agree with you.
But if someone does do that anyway, they should at least take precautions, such as not giving away more information, and putting it in a place on the internet that's not too likely to garner unwanted attention. If I put a picture of myself up on the Web, I'd want it to be a photo that shows my face only partially, or not at all. That's my opinion.
As for the girl asking for people to rate her, I don't think that shows a lot of common sense. That opens the door for pervs, don't you agree?
