There are some hypotheses that can be phrased in such a way that they can never be disproven. These sorts of speculative hypotheses are generally viewed with extreme skepticism until they are positively proven. One example is the existence of aliens. You can not find aliens forever and proponents of the theory will only claim you haven't found them yet. It such a case it falls upon the one making the claim to meet the burden of proof. Most of the time a hypothesis will be made in a way that can be either proven or disproven with evidence or experimentation. A hypothesis is an initial prediction on the outcome of an experiment. It is not the same as a theory which has been repeatedly tested and generally agreed upon to be the best explanation for a particular effect by the majority of the scientific community.

Who ever told you Hypothesis is wrong is a nut.
Hypothesis is and can be the most wonderful experience the mind can experience.
I was injuried in falling rock and the doctors gave me six months of life and told me to get my thing in order. That was four years ago. By the way when the doctors told me this I was on 18 pills a day of peradan, 3 shots a day of Toradol, Two patches of morphine, 16 patches on my back with electricity into my back, I had 1/3 of my lung cut out and was on 5liters of O2.
Now I use non of the pills, shots, patches and the air lines have been removed. Thanks to Hypothesis. By the way I am 99.999% over the injury.
