'I like you'. 'You'' is plural, though: 'euch', (pronounced 'oich' ): 'Ich habe euch gern'.
('oi' sounds like a colloquial form of 'euch', while a handwritten, small 'n' can easily be mistaken for a 'w'.)

I'm taking a stab in the dark here. Ich hab' dich gern = I like you.
Or is the "oi" a mangling of "ein" - a ?? A what? not sure.

Well, Ich hab means I have. Ein means one, or a (could that be what 'oi' means?) But what gerw might mean is beyond me. Sorry.
