Edwards wants government run health insurance. Now, he wants grown adults to be forced to go to the doctor. Whatever happened to free choice. Why do liberals think we are too stupid to take care of ourselves?

What the liberals never answer is the question of where we are going to get all the doctors, nurses, medicine, and hospital beds to provide everyone with all the health care that they are entitled to by right.

I know all about the 'Nanny Staters!' I live in one of the biggest Nanny States; Minnesota. They have the "I will tell you how to live your life and what's best for you, and will FORCE you to comply!" ideology. What ever happened to personal responsibility and accountability, along with individual liberties and freedoms the constitution gives us? How is the Nanny state the pursuit of life liberty and happiness?

Lindsey G, tell me what makes everyone so deserving of free health care? Did they earn it, because health care sure as hell ISN'T a right!

Yeah you could spin it that way.

If you don't go for a scheduled checkup, what's going to happen? Nothing. The FBI won't come knocking at your door to take you to the doctor.

All that "mandatory" means is that hospitals and other medical facilities push for people to get checked out, but by no means can you force someone to do things like that if they don't want to.

And frankly, many conservatives are too dumb to take care of themselves. I mean, look at how they are running the government.

It is not that liberals think we are too stupid, it is that they have an unearned sense of superiority that allows them to believe that they know best

No one thinks you are too stupid but millions of people can not afford health care and everyone deserves health care. End of story.

It's not that we're too stupid. It's that not all of us can afford our health care system. Your answer to that? "You can just die, then"!

Why do Republicans think we need to have the government preach at us all the time? They're supporters of The Preacher State. I say to them: Shut up, butt out, mind your own damn business.

They always have. Their wet dream is to have to make no decisions whatsoever while the government forces it's own agenda down our throats.
