why you support job outsourcing

why you are against universal health care

why you claim to support soldiers, but deny them funding for necessary medical care

why you support giving tax breaks to the rich (and please don't give me the 'trickle down' cr*p; there are better ways to create jobs/lower loan interest rates)

why you claim to have "good Christian values" but support war in iraq and help the rich get richer

why you based a war of intuition ("iraq has WMD's")

why bush claimed to be concerned about global warming before the 2000 election, but after the election claimed the evidence wasn't conclusive, and all of a sudden had some sort of an epiphany and decided to do nothing about the problem

why you scream about protecting the second amendment, but have no problem with NSA wiretapping infringing on the first

why ivy league alumni are reputably liberal (please don't give me the "i have a third eye of truth" or "they are stupid" argument)

o, and most importantly: how killing iraqi civilians helps solve the terrorist problem

and

why there have been more terrorist plots per year (in countries that supported the iraq war) since the iraq war began, if the war was supposed to stop terrorism

I am a Republican, however, I somewhat disagree with your claims

I do not support mass job outsourcing. I am proud of products that are made in America, and use them often. (Manhole covers for example)

I am against universal health care, because I am a firefighter. If it were free to go to the hospital, for any reason, our call loads would quadruple, and our hospitals overfilled. Let alone the huge cost of it all.

I vote for giving the military more money for medical care. We need to take care of those guys.

What the hell is wrong with giving an incentive to being successful? Is getting ahead in life a crime? Why should we punish them?

I support our efforts in Iraq. We are helping so much over there; building schools, infrastructure, and helping them secure their country. What is so bad about that? And so what if the rich are getting richer, isn't that the way our system works?

Everybody though Iraq had WMDs. Republicans, Democrats, the UK, Poland, Australia, all of the countries that came and helped us.

Sorry, the man's got a lot of crap on his plate. You never heard anything from FDR about the environment when he built the Grand Coolee Dam either.

I have a problem with any infringement on the Constitution. Liberals have no problem telling me what kind of displays I can have in my yard for Christmas either. Is that not free speach as well?

Ivy league alumni are reputably liberal because their professors are. After 4 years of exposure, it takes a strong willed mind to not conform.

You are making a lot of assumptions , generalizations and blanket characterizations. You are building the typical liberal
target strawman. I am a conservative( and Republican) and:

Both parties unfortunately support out- sourcing despite their denials.I am against this outrageous procedure. Both parties are in the pocket of big business.

We want to improve health care and make it more accessable. You probably don't even know what the term "universal" means when applied to health care the Canadian system is broken due to its universality. There should be a hybrid Can/ Am system.

Funding denial ( which is wrong ) is bureaucratic problem and liberalism infests the bureaucracy.

The insurgents are killing the Iraqis not the Americans.

If you check back you will see that many top liberals, the UN and Germany and France also thought there were WMD's.This was not only a republican opinion. The others were too cowardly to do anything. It's also very probable that while we were dicking around with the pathetic UN for several months, these weapons were shipped to Syria. Whenever, some evidence came out to support this, the media covered it up.

The republican stance on global warming , is not that it doesn't exist. Is that the problem has been politically framed and that the Kyoto solutions are ineffective and biased against the America. They have been taking concrete steps to solve our problems.

The Patriot Act is needed to protect us, however you don't believe we have enemies.Having said that ,as citizens we must make sure we don't lose too many rights.Your blanket condemnation of the act shows your ignorance.
Liberal alumni are not stupid , they are very left wing. You have fallen for their crap.

Whatever flaws republicans and/or Bush have , Democrats and liberals are much worse.

Finally, don't tell us what arguments to use, your audacity is outrageous.

1. I do not support job outsourcing. I support a tax code that promotes domestic manufacturing. It is called the Fair Tax. Since we are a global economy and it is expensive to do business here, companies have a right to stay competitive.

2. I am all for universal health care. You have the right to buy it yourself. I want a 4000 square foot home but I cannot afford it. I want a new car every year, but my money is better spent elsewhere.

3. No proof. I do not support spending without accountability.

4. I support giving federal income tax breaks for those who pay them. When you give tax breaks, it is in the form of rate cuts. You do not want to hear what I have to say on this anyways. When someone has money to invest in a business, it creates jobs and funnels money into the company.

5. On war in Iraq, you are a jealous. Rich get richer. What does that mean? You want to stop people from making it. How about you spend your time learning how to be successful instead of hating people.

6. On WMDs, Saddam said he had them. He gassed the Kurds. The UN, France, Germany, most democrats, etc all said he had them. Are you calling Kerry and Clinton liars?

7. I am very concerned about global warming. It is clear that humans are not causing it. Nothing that can be done.

8. The NSA program has been going on for 30 years. It has nothing to do with owning a gun. The NSA should intercept calls from people here to countries that are our enemies.

9. Liberals tend to have a lot of education. There is theory and there is the real world. Higher education lives in theory. I work in reality. I graduated from a very reputable business school, so I have been there. It looks like this is the only accurate statement you made.

I'm a Libertarian, but I'll answer your foolish questions.

Outsourcing is indefensible. Someday the execs that do this will learn how badly it undermines quality.

Universal Health Care requires the young and healthy to subsidize the health care costs of the old and the sick. It's not something you'd expect to find in a "free country".

Soldiers and Veterans have been getting screwed out of what was promised them for about fifty years, this isn't new. It's basically because there aren't enough of them to matter to the media, except when a Republican is in the White House.

Stick to subjects you really understand. Christian values and what's going on in Iraq don't seem to be in that category.

Did you happen to see the article about the Iraqi WMD's that were found in the UN last week? Seems the inspectors had a sample of nerve gas that they obtained right before the war started, and in the excitement, kind of forgot they had it.

Global Warming is a hoax. There is no scientifically established causation of warming due to CO2. This is obvious to anyone that understands that correlation is not causation.

NSA wiretapping doesn't infringe on the 1st Amendment. Read the Amendment for yourself. Wiretaps have nothing to do with anyone's "paper or persons".

From my experience, academicians (including lawyers as well) tend to be liberal because they are, more often than not, people who have never milked a cow, worked construction, dug a foxhole, drawn water from a well, or killed a chicken for dinner. In other words, they haven't a clue what it means to really produce something.

I can't believe I'm hearing this. Is this what you were taught in school? The government doesn't have money! Your a fool if this is what you actually believe. The U.S. currency is an IOU to the public in exchange for their (the public) trust that what we earn in making a living will be backed by the the strength of the economy. The government has NO assets. ALL government property belongs to the people. WE bought and paid for it. The more money the feds print off, the weaker their promise to back it becomes real. The more money printed, the less value there is in the currency. You try and flame flavours_of_entangleme with this remark: flavours_of_entangleme: more money in the economy STIMULATES the economy. You are telling me you rather horde your $10 cause god forbid $2 being taken away and you being able to earn more?!? News flash the government takes, they TAKE, not ask; over $3.30 from that $10, not a measly two dollars. Edit: I had to lower my intellect in order to explain this to this dunderhead. Maybe it wasn't low enough. Somebody please try to impress some sensibility to this person.

Ok, quite a lengthy barrage of accusations leveled here...
I am officially labeled conservative, but if I could vote, I would vote for more than a party. I research issues, not just names. I am mainly independent, I can empathize with most stances...

Practically switzerland, but still...

A) dear DeusExMachina, the word "do" would have made it a little clearer.

B) I am not against universal health care, but in the quest for utopia I believe people should work to the fullest extent of their capacity, rather than as a majority waiting for life to happen upon you.

Also, in regard to the tax cuts, if business owners have large amounts of money going through their account, then wouldn't their taxes reflect a "rich" individual. Thus the business owners who create the jobs can't afford to give 1000's of people jobs because they're spending all their money on taxes.

Few people are ok with the wire tapping, the media however, loves to pit party against party so it looks good for them to make it look like most conservatives are gung ho about it.

intuition is supposed to be of value when faced with uncertainty. Ocum's Razor, the most likely conclusion is usually the correct one. At the time, in G.B.'s mind, it was most likely. I truly believe he thought he was doing right. And statistically a president loses money while in office, rather than gaining anything.

Perhaps, I'll edit more later, but it is late, and I have intended no offense... please. I might have been a tad on the defensive, but I apologize if I was too strong,

If that's your "most important" question, would it be so hard to time some time and educate yourself on the topic before asking the question? The fact is it is NOT US troops killing civilians, they are there PROTECTING them.

Also, the single person most responsible for outsourcing is none other than Bill Clinton... for more information take the time to go look up the trade deal he pushed through with China.

And finally, universal healthcare would result in lower quality service at a much higher cost.

I'm against job outsourcing.

I do support our troops, thank you very much! Democrats are against a large military force. They also vote against funding for our troops, yet approve a pay raise for themselves every year!

As for there being more terrorist plots, that's all they've amounted to because they were caught! The fighting in Iraq has prevented a terrorist attack on US soil. I think that's a good thing.
