ah, good question,
I know Surfing would be much more exciting and enjoyable than fishing would be, no doubt. But on the other hand Fishing is much easier to learn and can be more rewarding.
If you think about it, a beginner can catch many more fish than s/he can waves. You know what I'm saying?

Been body boarding before and I suck! Didn't know how to get off the wave! Also, with the waves we have here, it can be a little scary! I would rather go fishing. I can imagine spending some quiet time fishing with someone special. Ahhh....that would be nice!

surfing...the only fish around here that are edible are big minnows. If u fillet 1,500 of them u might get a decent meal. hmm fishing from ur surfboard could be interesting.
