Lets see, in all the years I worked as a mehanic I must have worked on, well..., probably...I guess maybe...zero 42 WLA Harleys. However, a quick check through the internet shows me that the chain exists on the right side (like a Sportster) so no need to pull the primary and clutch off. Simply take off whatever covers are necessary, undo the sprocket nut before dropping the chain (I assume the sprocket is held on with a nut). With nut and chain off, pull sprocket to get at seal. I assume (maybe incorrectly) that the seal is pushed into the case with interference fit like 99.999% of all modern bikes. If so you can usually jab or drill a small hole in the seal into which you can turn a sheet rock screw which you can use a slide hammer or even pliers/visegrips to pull the seal out. Tap the new seal in and reassemble, only one hundred easy steps and you are done. (apologies to any Harley gurus out there if I have answered incorrectly).

Just adding to G B's answer.
I usually drill 2-4 holes in the metal outer ring (if so fitted) of the seal, and screw in sheet metal screws, then walk it out with vice grips, alternating from one screw to another, to avoid the seal getting cocked.
On installing the new seal, I permatex the outer edge, then using either a large, deep socket, or piece of pipe/tubing (large enough to contact the outer edge, but smaller than the hole the seal is going in, inside diameter large enough to fit over shaft, long enough to extend past shaft) to tap/press the seal in.

Provided the seal is fitted from outside, then both the above answers cover it.Make sure you have correct replacement before destroying old seal.
