I beleive it would be the state that I live in, Wisconsin-people here suck-they are so rude for no reason!

I would say New Jersey, however, apparently, everyone thinks that their own state has the rudest people. I think the appropriate answer is...you cannot escape rude people. We humans, by nature, stink. Americans, throughout time, have demonstrated a greediness beyond anything else. Take, for instance: War for independence, the Civil War, Manifest Destiny, etc. Not just Americans, but every culture, people, and society that remains in power. There's nothing we can do to stop the power of the self except surrender.

There isn't just one state or place on earth that has the "rudest" people.
Rude people are all over and can't we all be rude at times.

New York has some of the rudest people I've ever talked to, but on the same account it also has some of the nicest I've ever talked to.

I have been in all the states of the United States with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii and my experience says New Jersey. I am sure there are some nice people there though too...I just never met them.

I haven't been to every state, but I'll say New York from all the ones I've been to.

i think rudeness is an across the board kind of thing. people always say ny, but i had a woman hold my hand on a crowded subway so i wouldn't fall (i couldn't reach the pole + it was rush hour) and when a fight broke out and i got really nervous, she held my hand tighter.
