Nah i really dont think they are gonna win it all. They have Beckett and 4 incosistent starters. Granted there bullpen is great and there offense is above average but i don't see it happening. If you told me to pick a team today i'd definately say the Los Angeles Angles Of Anaheim. I really like how they play ball. Lackey, Colon, Weaver, and spotty Santana. K-Rod's there closer. They play phenomenal d and they are most certainly not afraid to run. With Vlad as the MVP I'll take the Angels to win the World Series over the New York Mets in 6.

As a Sox fan I certainly hope so. They have great pitching and a dominant bullpen. One thing to remember about the playoffs is that the best teams get their but the hottest team wins. So if the Sox get hot they should steamroll everyone especially now that Papi seems to be getting his groove back.

No. They have one starting pitcher and not nearly enough offense to overcome that aspect of their roster. Their bullpen is only good when it is not overused. If the Indians get hot and the Angels cool down it's going to be set up for another Yankees vs sox ALCS. The only AL team Boston will beat in the playoffs are the Angels and the Angels are the only AL team that can beat the Yankees.

They have a good shot, as of now the playoff picture favors them slightly with a better record then the Halos. But the Angels did split a 4 game series in Beantown recently and took 2 of 3 from them in Anaheim. Here is my predicitons with the current standings:

ALDS
Boston def. Cleveland (Bos can't play NYY due to they are in same division)
LA of Anaheim def. NY Yankees (Yanks nightmare of seeing Angel red again disposing them in the playoffs)

NLDS
NY Mets def. Arizona (pitching too good for Dbacks bad hitters)
San Diego def. Chicago (Pads 1,2 combo unbeatable in NL)

ALCS
LA of Anaheim def. Boston (Donnie Moore can RIP with a Halo victory and forget Dave Hendersons blast)

NLCS
San Diego def. NY Mets (Peavy and Young = too good)

World Series
LA of Anaheim def. San Diego (I-5 World Series ends with another Cali Rival falling to the Angels)

They have a very good shot but I think it will be the Tribe going to the World Series

Yes. They have the best starting rotation in the league and the best bullpen behind San Diego.
