I have greased, unpluged, checked the worm gear, opened it manualy to make sure no restriction exist. It will come up about 2 feet and stop. I can hit the remote again and then it will continue upward. I have turned the pressure up button wide open but nothing has helped it. Anyone one have any Ideas on what to try next or what it could be. Thanks

All I can guess at is.. Did a spring break? When you opened it manually, was it real heavy & hard? Too much torque on the motor makes it stall.

If it is a modern one that has the photo electric safety sensors to make sure no one is in the path of the door, it may be that the sensors are misaligned or blocked.

are those obstacle sensors out of whack or defective? You know the ones at the bottom of the door, like a infrared beam. Try tying the wires togethter or disconnect them
