The images on the computer are nice and clear, but the images on the web are fuzzy. The color is great, text is great; but not the images. I even downloaded a different browser, but I have the same results. Help please.

Hi Rollen,,It sounds like to me that your Video card is running out of memory to run the video program. You may need a new one or a higher processor...Bob.

well I really am not an expert on this but image renderring is not totally reliant on the browser.. If what you said is true that local images appears good on your computer but live pix such as the ones from the net are not then you should check the layer requiremnts of the site you are viewing.. you could actually see this things flash right before the domian sends in the packets for your browser to handle... if the system requirement is not met then a compatability mode is renderred for you and your browser to see... the site master will actually provide links for you to download the necessary application layers to run the page as intended by the webmaster... i hope this helps.. o and one more thing if you are using vista then make sure you dolwload the proper version otherwise you will just end up with a crash. need not worry though because vista has a respectable restore facility. For all that its worth vista has got to be the worst os taht microsoft has released ... talk about teething problems but I am really impressed with the system restore facilitiy that it has... hope this helps

generally images that are on web sites are crisp and clear.
If however these are images you have placed on a site, there are a few tricks. Bring the image in a little larger than needed and at a higher resolution than normal, like 400dpi then resize to the desired size and change the resolution to 75 and you will see your problem will go away.
When dealing with image manipulation you will have to learn what you can and cannot do, not to loose quality.
If we are talking about you just clicking on a web site and the images are bad you may need to change the settings in your display located in the control panel.
