Depends on where you find the find and it depends on how rare the find is. Some rubies are worth more than diamonds.

A ruby. Large, quality rubies don’t come cheap. A four-carat plus top quality ruby is more rare and more expensive than a similar sized diamond. With a tradition that stretches back over 2,000 years, rubies have been prized from time immemorial and today’s contemporary society and tastes have done little to diminish their desirability. Ruby is probably the most emulated gem on the planet.

Diamonds are more expensive, but there are huge warehouses of diamonds. There are less emeralds and rubies in the world, so go with them. I would say emerald because I like the color green, but others might say rubies.
