seems to be the norm for most people, a simple answer for a simple question...

I have stopped just answering any old question though and now spend a bit more time - it is far more enjoyable.

Plus I think you really appreciate it when someone has spent a bit of effort to ask a good question, I think they deserve a decent answer.

No, I don't only answer simple questions. This is a simple question, although I thought I might state my opinion.. I don't only answer simple questions because I submit (what I think..) are difficult questions on here, and I would love for them to be answered. If everyone on here were to only answer simple questions, most things would be left, unanswered!

If I answer a question, it is usually because I think I know the answer, so, therefore, it would naturally be an "easy" question as far as I am concerned. That being said, I will add that sometimes I answer questions that are "hard" in that it takes a lot for me to impart information about myself into an answer. Sometimes I answer questions that just plain make me mad...maybe I find the asker attitude beyond the pale of good taste or common sense. Sometimes I answer a question because it makes me laugh, or sometimes to try to be helpful. No, I think if I wanted "easy" questions, I am on the wrong forum! Even this one isn't easy....lol.

Questions are only simple if you know the answer.

No, i can answer any question you may offer up, but i will not promise that the answer is correct. My answer may be correct, it may be informative and well thought out, it might be an answer that is new and unique and never before considered, or it just might be a big steaming pile of road apples, it might not even make sense to someone with the intellect of a room full of Nobel Prize winners, but it WILL be an answer!

Certainly not. One should not judge a question by the number of words in its sentence. Indeed, the most probing, thought-provoking questions are often formed from one or two words, and provide marvellous stimuli for my neurons. In fact this very question may be a hidden trap, destined to bring to the fore those answerers who consider themselves to be superior intellectual beings, or it may be have been formed by a small rodent running randomly across a keyboard. In any case it gives me an opportunity to respond in a totally inept manner and make myself look like an idiot. See?

It really depends on my mood. If I feel like going in depth on a subject, then I'll answer those "deep" questions; if not, then I will stick with the simple ones!

If I know the answer it's simple to me.

I prefer simple questions when I'm tired but I do answer longer ones. Tonight I'm tired so short and sweet questions.

Nah! The only questions I refuse to answer are the ones that are intentionally offensive. I have a very open mind and even if someone feels that they couldn't ask a question in the open forum here I would welcome it by e-mail. It's one of the reasons I have the facillity left open to people
