pleas help i have a test towmarrow, and the teacher forgot to write the answer down on our study guide.

You can heat chemicals in a beaker but not in a grad. cylinder. Also can use flasks (flat botttom on a hot plate or round bottom with a water bath or heating mantel. All should be pyrex for heating.

Its probably the little test-tube clamp, which allows you to hold a tube over a heat source without burning yourself.

A round bottom flask can be used. An Erlenmeyer flask can also be used.
