Why women do not like to give birth to male babies ?

I am married and a father of a beautiful baby girl.
My wife do not like abortion, me either. But i dont like more babies in the same sex, when i asked her to ask doctor the methods of how we can have a baby boy next, she got angry and she said i do not ask this to a doctor. She says take it as it comes, and i know that xx is female and xy is male, if you look at this you can see there is more chance of getting baby girl. What do u rekon, how can i solve this problem. Should i insist her to go for abortion if the next one is female or should i accept it. or pray to God to get boy next time. What should i do ?

This is between you and your wife. I had a boy and I was so glad from the moment I knew it was a boy. (to be honest I wanted a boy and not a girl, I would have been fine though either way) You just have to pray that the baby is healthy no matter what the sex is. Best of luck to you and your wife.

Do not have any more children. I am PRO CHOICE, but his is insane! Aborting a fetus because it is the wrong sex. Either you want a child or you do not. You don't get to pick what it will be. That is just life. You can not even determine the sex of a child until after the legal time frame allowed in the United States for abortion.
You can not control everything in your world. GET OVER YOURSELF and decide if you want another child or if you just want a name sake.
PS. I have a boy and a girl. My three closest friends have two boys a piece. ALL of them would have another baby if they knew it would be a girl.
Girl's are not so bad. We were the ones chosen to be the barer of life. You may lay the seed but we carry the responsibility of the fetus and child birth. Like to see you give it a try! Let's hope your daughter never sees this question as she may feel a little less loved!

This is ridiculous. There is no way you can determine the sex of the baby prior to conception. Why kill the poor girl child becoz of your fault??

However, there is a theory that the male child is born when the egg and the sperm meet at same time. So try haveing sex ON the day your wife ovulates i.e. releases the egg. To find this out, trach her basal metabolic temperature for a few months and chk out the day when on what day of mnth her temp is slighly on higher side, before she gets out of bed. This you will hve to do for a couple of mnths. The day her temp rises slighltly is the day she ovulates and having sex then might give you a male child. But the method is not 100% sure. If you have sex BEFORE she ovulates, she might have the sperm stored in her uterus and that when meets with the released egg on the day of her ovulation, is likely to give rise to female child.

However, whatever, be the sex of a baby is predestined. Its the cruelest act on the earth to KILL a girl child. Abortion is cruel and the most ridiculous thing a man can do. So support your wife in her decission. Else, dont have children at all.

This a very unethical question, sorry. I am all for abortion but not for sex selection. You may not want another baby, you may not want a baby at all, the baby may be Down syndrome, or some genetic disorder. But aborting because is not the sex you want??? Selective pregnancies are an aberration, similar to 'killing' the offspring if they are not the desired sex, like in some communities (used to be).
Plus, there are no more chances of getting a girl: do your math. There is a 50/50 chance, unless YOU are unable to produce Y gametes. Therefore, your wife has nothing to do with having a boy, is all in you, and is experimentally proven that some men cannot produce viable Y gametes.
In my opinion, get an education, your question is utterly ignorant, and it scares me that you are actually a father.

There is always a fifty-fifty chance of having a boy or a girl. Also, sex-selection abortion is illegal. Accept it. If you have the financial means, you could have your sperm sorted in a laboratory and then inject only Y sperm into your wife's womb.

You could also look into the Shettles Method, which is only about 75% effective, but better than nothing. According to this theory, Y-sperm thrive in alkaline environments, so if you want a boy you should make love when the womb is most alkaline- the day before and the day of ovulation is what my book says.

be thankful for what you get and enjoy it and that is wrong to want an abortion if it is not a boy. selfish if you ask me. No matter what they are a true blessing and also the reason why woman might want a girl since they already have one girl is because that is what they are used to and the same would be true if it was a boy the first time then they would want more boys I dont know why this is but I hope this help you some

In a previous question you asked on China overpopulation. Look at the problems China is now having that they have a shortage of females, due to parents choosing male babies, and in cases aborting females. While you're saying you want one of each, I dont think its something you mess with.

Plus when you have 2 babies, even of the same sex, you can see how different they can be.

I just cannot believe that you would even consider asking your wife to have an abortion because she is or might be carrying a girl and not a boy. I think you should Thank your God for the healthy child you have and hope your next is also healthy whether it is a girl or a boy. I think you should accept whatever the child is!!! my dad kept praying to god for a boy and he ended up with 3 girls.Thats what he got for being selfish your chances of a boy are 50/50....there is no position, or method of how to up your chances. If you insist she go for an abortion if the next is a female i hope you are ready to lose your manhood becuase your wife will probably rip it off!. I am having a boy and i am ecstatic about it becuase it is my baby and i love him no matter what, and i would hope you realize that you should too.

First of all, she won't know the baby's sex until about halfway through the pregnancy- about 20 weeks. Abortion at this stage is not an option- although it makes me sick to even think you would consider killing your child just because it's a female.

I think you should accept whatever you are given and THANK GOD that you have such a wonderful wife and daughter that are willing to put up with your chauvinistic and repulsive sexist attitudes.
