I was breastfeeding at the time, and was on the minipill. IT says that you have to take it at the exact time everyday. Well. i forgot and took it an hour late two nights in a row, and then forgot to take it the next night. My husband and i had unprotected sex that same day. This was not even 6 weeks after birth. And then we did it again a week later. Now im on the nuvaring, and its been 4 months after i gave birth and was wondering if you can still get pregnant on the nuvaring we dont use a condom. Please answer my whole question if you can! thank you so much!

I was on BC pills for a long time and never had any scares even when I did not take my pill at the exact same time everyday (I had a very hectic college schedule), so you should definitely b ok. If you skipped one, the worst thing that could happen is that your period will more than likely occur a day or two earlier than expected. As for the nuva ring quest-I was on the ring for 9 months and never had any issues with that either, even without ever using a condom with my fiancee. It is time-released BC, so you are protected from unintentional pregnancy.

I was on the minipill (same time each day), using condoms, and breastfeeding (which is not a form of bc, just lowers the chances), and ended up getting prego! My two youngest are one year and 2 weeks apart. On a side note, my hubby and I went out of town for a weekend and I pumped the entire time out of town, and the doctor thinks that may have been the "breakdown" in the bc, because the pump in not as strong of the real baby. I have met someone though whose two youngest were only 9 months apart!!!! Anyway, good luck!
