Go with a relative's name, to honor them. (Hint: if you use a parent's name, you can deep down feel some payback later on-- when you get annoyed with the child's behavior, call the kid by the full name. It'll feel good to holler at your mom/dad for a change, lol)

Here are a few good rules:
Pair a short first name with a longer middle name and vice versa
Avoid pairing a first name ending with a vowel sound with a middle name that begins with a vowel sound.
Check the initials. Make sure you aren't giving your child initials that spell something like BAD or TNT.
Use the introduction technique. Introduce yourself outloud as your child.
Use the "calling" technique. Call to your child using only the first and middle names. Yell the name and whisper the name to see how it sounds.
Middle names can often be used to honor memberos of the family, people, or places that have made an impact on you. They are a good way to intwine your religion or heritage into the child's name and still give him or her their own identity.

Depends on the first name. It doesn't have to be Marie, Grace and Michael. Any name that is a first name can be a middle name. Spencer would be cool for a boy and Morgan for a girl.

I like Noelle for a middle name for a girl. I like Holden as a middle name for a boy. Holden is a family name and Noelle reminds me of my grandfather. His name was Leon and that is Noel spelled backwards; but I changed it up a bit. We used to always talk of how that would be a good middle name, so I think I will use it for a girl to honor his memory. Have a great weekend! :)

If it has a nice sound, how about the baby's Mom's maiden name? Or the Grandmother's maiden name? Of course, if the name is very long, hard to pronounce of just doesn't go, chuck this idea.
But it made me very happy when one of my grandsons was given my maiden name as his middle name.

Well it first depends on if it's a boy or a girl. If it's a girl i like the middle name: Marie, Maria, Jade, or Rae. But if it's a boy i like: Allan, John. But it just depends on what you choose for the first and last name. Congrats on your baby.

i love meaningful middle names. We just had a baby girl and gave her the middle name Jessie. Thats my boyfriends middle name and his grandma's name. Her initals also ended up being the same as mine because my middle name is Jean. Its sweet to have us connected like that. I suggest maybe you'd wanna do something like that???
