It will eventually be six foot high or more.

The bloom is fine. If it pollinates, it will develop into a pod. The pod itself is ready to harvest when it is three to four inches long. The pod will eventually grow to seven or eight inches long, but it is stringy and not good to eat at that point.

Okra will grow very fast, and the pod will mature very quickly.

However, we are running low on summertime, and your plant may need longer to grow up, since there are fewer hours of sunlight at present.

A full grown okra plant should be 4 to 5 feet tall. You're also going to have a hard time getting enough okra to cook from just one plant.

the okra plant is growing as it is supposed to; make sure that you harvest the okra pod early because when it matures the okra pod becomes too fibrous, you can also practice ratooning on okra plants.
