Humankind's basic war-like character. I used to think everyone simply wanted to raise their kids in peace, pursue their economic lives, enjoy their leisure time. But it seems all we want to do is make war, persecute the "other" people, grab the riches for ourselves. A widespread lack of "goodwill toward all".
"Imagine" by Joh Lennon will never happen, but I still hold the dream that someday it might.
