My partner and I both think the exact same thing at the same time, it happens quite regularly. we will be sitting there and one of us says for instance," It was Ed" . I turned immediately and said to him, I was just about to say the same thing to you.
What does this mean?? is it a soul mate connection?? or something deeper???

This is quite common amounst people who spend a lot of time together. Its not psychic or anything magical. It just means you are getting to know how each other think. It happens when a couple of guys hang out a lot too. Or a couple of girls for that matter. They start thinking along the same lines, not just male and female.
The concept of a soul mate, or two souls that were seperated and meant to be together is just a fairy tale. The truth about love is that you have to make it happen. Its not an emotion, its a devotion. In my opinion, almost all of those fairy tale stories and disney movie romances are doomed to fail rather quickly.

When two people have been together for a period of time, the natural, biological processes of two begin to come into synchonization. Meal times are synchronized, rest periods are synchronized, and, with women, even their menstral cycles will come into synch. It is not beyond belief or explanation that thought processes would also become synchronized.

After being together for a while, many couples will begin to communicate non-verbally. A quick glance, a shift in position, even a slight blush of the skin can be recognized and elicit a response. Our subconcious minds can recognize all types of stimuli that we cannot conciously identify. So, how is it that whole words or phrases might be shared between individuals?

When you become attune to another individual, it is also possible that you are attune to non-physical (or barely percievable) stimuli. You may feel an energy shift in the other person or begin to percieve stimuli that you never knew existed before. This is partially due to the increased attention that you are giving to this other person, and partially due to the increased trust that you have in this person. If you trust yourself and your partner, you will begin to find a whole new way of communicating and living together. Non-verbal communication will grow to be the norm and it will become comfortable over time. When you are together, you will begin acting as one mind. This is a sign of a strong connection and a common goal. Nurture it and let it grow.

It means you both have the same input of information, same problems, watch the same tv, etc, so there is a very good chance you will answer the same question the same, or come up with simple answers to simple questions the same.
Now if you would say something that is not of any past experience or interest to your partner, and they say, I was going to say that, then you are special, but as long as you are close, expect it all of the time.

Well if you're friends then you have similar interests. If you have been friends for a long time you share a history together. That means you have experienced many of the same things, shared your reactions to things and have developed "inside jokes" about many situations. Because of all of this you are more likely to react to something in a similar fashion.

It just means you know each other really well and tend to think the same way about a lot of things. That's great, you're compatible. It's nothing supernatural, but just a good match.

Yes it is a soulmate connection. The term is actually Twin Flames/Twin Souls. You are experiencing this with your partner bacause your souls were meant to serve a higher purpose when together. I'd highly recommend doing web searches on Twin Flames/Twin Souls - it will give you a more clearer perspective to your soul's purpose.
