Our house we moved into is old and so is the tub anyone got any ideas on how to clean it.

Use soft scrub... And a nylon non scratch brillo pad.... Then once a week spray the tub/tile surround w/ bleach/water and let it sit... Rinse... Tub should be clean and shiny

It all depends on what your tub is made from. If it's fiberglass then use Naval Jelly, just spread it on and leave it for a few minutes, rinse off. If it's porcelain then it may need to be reglazed if you can't clean it with normal cleaning solutions. Porcelain is porous and once the finish is scratched then it should be reglazed.

Use a dryer sheet to clean the grime off of the sides of the bathtub. It works great. The texture of the dryer sheet, combined with the fabric softener in the dryer sheet helps lift away any nasty tub ring instantly!

Try bicarbonate soda and vinegar,sprincle the bicarb and rub with a cloth soaked in vinegar.

well you can use SHAMPOO to clean soap scum out of your bath tub....
