Well let me ask you this, what's the difference between an affair and cheating??

As I have said many times. It is possible to have an affair while not cheating. But it is not possible to be with a partner and have an affair without cheating. Now on to your question. It would depend on the type of kiss that we are talking about here. Friendly or passionate? A passionate kiss while you or the other party are currently with somebody else?.... Yes that is an affair and is a mild form of cheating as well.

If there is a series of meetings, talking, romantic interludes and times when you act in a way like a couple, then even without sex, these actions and kissing take on the definition of an affair. I think you would find while the thought of heartless sex would sting and hurt, real pain would come from your man holding, kissing, walking with, dancing, leaning on, holding her hand, and being tender with another woman.

Depends on your relationship and how you've defined it. Usually, an affair is more long term than a kiss. Having sex with somone is an affair no matter how you slice it!

Of course NOT. In the western cultures greeting with another person with kisses is absolutely normal. Two persons might having affairs without seeing them kissing in public.

I'd think so. Unless your gay or asexual. If it is a betrayal of trust and is built on deceit that is when it becomes wrong. You could always opt for an open relationship if your particularly horny, then again you would have to handle the idea of your girlfriend kissing/sleeping with other people her self.

why were you kissing the other person.. how did you kiss them?
Id say if the person aint family.. or a friend you both know.. even then.. its getting on the border...

It isn't necessarily having an affair..but treading on cheating if you have a significant other.
