Well, it might because its not good to splash anything on your keyboard is it? It might go into the insides of the keyboard and damage things but this is just a mere guess :) Still, I think that its not a very smart idea O_O

No it will not hurt your keyboard. Just put it in the dishwasher. You can do that with standard desktop keyboards. Make sure it's "completely" dry before you connect it back to your computer.
If it's a logtech keyboard or one of those enhanced ones, don't do it.

Amazing how things get in there isn't it.

I think the lovely folks who built your keyboard in China knew that us capitalist pigs in North America can't go ten minutes without eating vegetable dip and designed it to withstand such abuse. Worry not.

You can pop the key covers off and clean under there to get it all out. It's really simple. Then just put them back on, and make sure you hear the snap when they go back into place.

I'm sure it will leave some kind of crust on them. I know that I spilled a lil tiny bit of juice on my keyboard on my laptop and it was jacked for months. Now my keyboard works *shrugs*-----its a miracle!!!!

I've never tried veggie dip but red wine will do a number on your hard drive if you spill it into your keyboard!
