We had lived together for many years. He came into religion and thought it wrong to not be married. So we got married. Nothing romantic about it. Yes we were alone when we talked it over. He did not ask. We just decided it best under the circumstances present. According to the Bible and what he had read he thought it wrong to just abandon me. No I did not cry. It was a very simple wedding.

I was married three times. The first time we were discussing a friend who didn't like me and he said he loved me, would I marry him, and caught me flat-footed. No, I didn't cry. My second husband mentioned marriage shortly after I'd annulled my first marriage and I said get back to me in a couple years so he asked me to live with him. We married a couple years later because, he said, "his time was up." (No real proposal.) My third husband proposed three weeks after we met (we were alone, like the other two, and he and I were at work, so no tears) and I said let's wait and (typical) a couple years later we married. That's all the marriages I want for awhile.

We were in my front yard on New Years Eve. No... I didn't cry. It wasn't extremely romantic. And yes, we were alone. I'm not trying to make it sound bad, I am just telling it like it really was.

His "purpose" to me is the guy who supports me everyday, so sometimes we're alone, other times we're out and about. Sometimes when he is giving me this "purpose" I cry because I am so lucky to have him!

not too romantic. We were both at home in bed with the flu with 102 temps and snot running down our faces. It was Christmas and we missed our flight to go home for the holidays because we were so sick. Yes I did cry.

He had the ring in a BIG box of packing peanuts for Christmas, with all our kids there, and handed it to me. YES, I started crying!

I told him I was pregnant and then he put his arms around me and said "If were still toghther in a year from now I'll marry you". Not the most romantic begining, but we've been married 10 years now.

When my wife was sleeping, I sneaked out of bed early and got all dressed up in my best suit. I slid the ring on her finger and waited for her to wake up. When she did, I was at the side of the bed on one knee all dressed up. She gave me a sleepy, 'what the hell are you doing' look, noticed something on her finger, looked down at it and exploded out of bed. Didn't even have to ask her. As we say, she woke up engaged. And yeah, she cried.

I found a boxed ring at the toe of my Christmas Stocking.
But he wasn't there,he was at his parents home.
Since it wasn't a traditional engagement ring,I wasn't entirely sure what to think.
In short,we only made it for the 'itchy seven years',sigh.
