How old do you have to be to get married in Alabama? What do you have to sign and the details? I love this girl and if we can, we've both discussed it privately and with our parents.

I live in Alabama and I must say this: 1) You are far too young to get married. 2) Even with parents consent, you are too young legally to be married and 3) If your parents would intertain the idea of you two getting married at the age of 12, then they are as clueless as you are for wanting to be married at your age.

You have to be 18 to legally get married without a parents consent in Alabama just like most states. If you are old enough to get married, you will know what you need for it to be legal. I am not going to give you information about what is needed if you are a minor.

first off you are only 12! You are not old enough to even know what love it. How long have you been "with her?" I have no idea what the laws are but I do know that even though I have never met you, you are NOT ready yet. you don't even know what you truely want in a girl yet.
