if not, whats the maximum?

I think it all depends on the person. You have to force yourself to socialize outside your comfort zone until you are able to cope with other people.

Let's say a volunteering or a job where you're forced to interact with other people. I n time you should be able to talk to others easily.

I used to be a REALLY shy person. I think when you become comftorable in your own skin is when the shyness begins to fade away. I always had trouble getting up in front of class to give a presentation when I was in highschool. By the end of highschool I was volunteering to give my presentation...I wasn't the first volunteer, but I did volunteer.

it doesn't have to ...but it takes alot of work to overcome it
