i want to major in finance and minor in computer science, is this a good major/minor? what kind of jobs can i get with this? will it be easy to get a job in california?

In California, majoring in computer science might get you more jobs -- especially if you have your eye on Silicon Valley where they pay really well. Otherwise that sounds like a good combination -- finance opens you up to a variety of jobs. You could go into manufacturing, marketing, accounting, banking, etc.

Yes, it sounds like a good combination. I would assume you might do something like work with financial databases with that sort of a combination. You should be able to get a job rather easily, especially in California.
