Yep, it's spam alright. Since it was forwarded from a friend, just delete it. But in the future, if something is sent from an email addy that you don't recognize and if you've already deleted it but it's still in your trash bin, move it to your inbox, then click the button next to it (where the check mark goes) and then click "spam". This gets reported to yahoo immediately as spam.

I'm no genius, but that's got hoax written all over it. Why in the world would Yahoo have to get the word out through individuals. They would put it on the top page. Trash it!

Check out Snopes and you will see this havs been around for YEARS!!! this is definitely spam, check out the link and confirm for yourself.
It has come under MSN, YAHOO, AIM and AOL, so it is definitely a hoax
LOL, yeah like the REAL president of Yahoo would EVER personally contact one of us 'underlings.'

Do not forward it to anyone, delete it now! Runa virus scan make sure you don't get screwed. Yahoo, doesn't charge for their email accounts, that why it say "FREE".

...this is a major wind up...it sounds like a new troll attack...be very careful about viruses too...I opened a question with a link on it 2 days ago and a trojan virus was introduced...it took me 1 hour to purge it from my computer...tell her to send it to Yahoo...
