carbonic acid ---- the evidence is that they are in your bloodstream.... cuz CO2 is transported to the lungs via Carbonate (base form of acid)

Bubbling CO2 through water causes the formation of carbonic acid. The pH of the water will fall when this happens.

HCO3 does form but they immediately disassociate that you'll have to memorize like u said when you have difficulty balancing try to see if H2O and CO2 work out
