HAHAHA i ditched the 1st day of my sophmore year like 2 weeks ago, me and my friends went and got sooooooooo blazed xD

No, dont. Look all the kids in your class are all gonna be new so they all feel just like you. they're all scared and nervous. You will regret it if u dont go the first day. The teachers ar egonna probably show around your classes and the buildings of the school. Your gonna show up the second day and u wont know where ur classes are or Homeroom and all that other stuff u need to kno.
Im sure you will make new friends.

No, don't ditch school. It's going to be your 'first day' at some point. You'll just be confused on the second day, and everyone else will already know what's going on. Might as well go, and figure out where your classes are, and who your teachers are.
I'm sure you're just nervous. Everybody is. There won't be 6,000 kids in your classes. Get to know your classmates and teachers. It'll be ok.

There are two ways to look at it. Kinda a glass is half full/ half empty philosophy. Since it is the first day and everyone is trying to get organized, nobody will miss you from your classes. On the other hand, you really won't be doing much in the classes anyways, so it is pretty much a free pass to meet the people in your class, be social and not really do any work.
The choice is yours. Make the most of it either way.

You should not ditch on the first day... first off, youll miss a bunch of important stuff from your classes, and its not a good empresion to make on teachers that you could have for years to get an unexcused absence on the FIRST DAY. Second, you can make a bunch of friends, sitting next to someone new makes it likely to have a new friend. Also, EVERYONE else feels the same way as you do.

No. The first day is the most important. It won't be as bad as you think. It will be a good reunion with all 10 people you know and a chance to meet a lot more.

no. go. every one is awkward on the first day. your Havok First Day will be on the first day you go to school so i should think you will want to share that experience with your classmates. and plus, you will get caught because everyone does attendence on the first day. don't start off your highschool career with a detention.

I know how you feel, but I say you shouldn't because it would look bad on your image, only because it's the first day of school and also because it wouldn't make a great first impression to your teachers. My suggestion is that you go to school, try to make new friends, and make the best of your first day or at least try to. I know it can be tough on the first day, just remember to be your best! =)

holy moley. 6000 kids?! My school only has like less than 500 total. Just go, you'll have to deal with it sooner or later. Who knows, maybe you'll meet a cute guy.

anyway its not that badddd. y ditch the first day its the most easiest and most exciting!!! perhaps u'll meet some new people. most freshman dont know anyone!
