Has to be without using a mic!

Actually, you may not even need a cable. See if you can change the recording device to your sound output. I did this in Audacity in Linux under Edit>Preferences, yours may be in a slightly different location.

If you can't do this through Audacity, I think you can still do it through Windows.

Timmy has the right idea. get a cordsplitter and take a cable and plug it into the speaker jack using the splitter, then plug the other end into the mike jack. If you want, plug the speakers into the other hole in the splitter so you can hear what is going on and if it is working. You can edit the track volume once it is on the computer.

you could see if it uses a loopback to record the audio you are hearing OR.... use a plug to go from your speakers to your mic or line in...

I would recommend using a Y-plug so you could still hear things...
