Even if a man does not ejaculate during sexual intercourse, there is a significant amount of viable sperm in pre-ejaculate to make a woman pregnant. Regarding taking birth control pills while pregnant - it is recommended that you do not take them while pregnant. However, some women do sometimes get pregnant while taking birth control pills and do not realize they are pregnant for awhile. There does not appear to be a documented risk to the baby of a mom who has been taking birth control pills. When I was 38 years old, our children were 18, 15, and 12. I had been taking birth control pills with no problems for 11 years when we found out I was pregnant. I had some symptoms that initially presented themselves as Irritable Bowel Syndrome and by the time I found out my problem was pregnancy, I was 17 weeks along. I had been taking the Pill all that time. I, of course, stopped taking the Pill the day I found out I was pregnant, but my doctor said it was not a problem that I had been taking the Pill all that time. Bottom line is this...unless you or your husband have been surgically sterilized, anytime you have sex, there is a chance you can become pregnant. Nothing but abstinence is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy and most sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms are often promoted as "safe sex", but they are not fool-proof. While it may reduce the risk, people can still contract sexually transmitted diseases and women can become pregnant while using them. If you are pregnant and happen to take birth control pills at the same time, it will not harm the baby, but you should stop taking the Pills if you suspect you may be pregnant. I suggest you contact the doctor who prescribed the Pills. Have a clinically done pregnancy test to be sure.

Sorry you had to deal with that... you have no idea though, the number of people who come on here wanting to know what herbs to take to kill a baby, etc. It's just awful.
Just fyi, best to use a condom for a few weeks until your body gets the hang of the birth control pills. As a backup.

dont fret...people get crazy on here and jump to all sorts of conclusions. I didnt answer your other question but people get pregnant all the time on the pill and are advised to continue taking the pill until they know they are for sure pregos. I for example concieved while on the pill and obviously once i found out i was pregnanct i stopped taking the pill and i had an amzing healthy 10 lb baby girl. Now if you continue to take the pill while you know you are pregnant..now that is a whole other story and im sure it could do mucho damage to the fetus.

Don't be too concerned that you continued to take birth control pills early in your pregnancy. This is a common occurrence. The good news is that many studies have indicated that the hormones in birth control pills are not harmful to your baby. However, no medication should be taken during pregnancy that has no benefit to you or your baby. So, you should stop taking your birth control pills while you're pregnant and discuss any concerns you have with your doctor.

Doesn't matter if the guy came or not, that's how I ended up with my daughter!
First of all, take a pregnancy test and find out, then you can worry about any problems taking BC had..but I don't think there is much of a chance of it harming or killing the baby. If the test says you are pregnant, go see a gyno and talk to her about your worries and I am sure you will be put at ease.
Best of luck to you!!

don't try to explain yourself, or defend yourself, if someone has something against what you say, **** them. It's your choice.
But sorry, it won't do anything. Birth Control is a 'before' thing. So are condoms. The only 'after' things are like. plan b type pills and abortion.
im so sorry.
