the fx will be a faster processor ... but really u wouldnt notice one bit of difference in gaming or multitasking all other things being equal ... u may notice a difference in completion times of long processor intensive tasks like video converting but it wont be much ..

FX-62 would be a bit faster because of its larger L2 cache. X2 5400+ should not be far behind because even the 2.6Ghz X2 5000+ is coming up close here:

BUT do take note that X2 5400+ is pretty efficient at 89W TDP vs the HOT FX-62 at 125W TDP.

Lol those adult males have all of it incorrect.. a center 2 Duo E6550 (2.33ghz)/E6750 (2.66ghz) will certainly wreck the 5400+. you would be unable to assessment Ghz to Ghz between intel and AMD's contemporary selections considering the fact that intel's shape is lots extra powerful than AMD's
