I'm seriously thinking on buying a used bmw 525i, however I need some advice on people who actually purchased one. What is the best way I can get a good deal for a 525i with low miles, also what price would I be looking at? I've never actually stopped by a dealer to look at the prices, and figured this would be helpful to me.

for example, a 525i with atleast 30,000 how much would it cost? Also how much insurance be?

I'm 20 but, have good driving record, great credit history, anything else I left could help. So yea anyway thanks in advance?

Just hope you have plenty of excess funds each payday. The BMW is the most expensive vehicle there is to maintain. Purchase price is only the first part of the bad news. Parts for them, even just batteries, are ONLY available through the BMW dealers. The computer lights up a "maintenance required" set of lights at intervals. The dealer won't reset the lights unless you have ALL the maintenance the company says is due at that point. also if you don't and something breaks your warranty is void. When I was driving a BMW I never got out of their shop on routine maintenance for under $500 and usually it was much more. Needless to say that is why I don't drive a BMW anymore. They're really a rich man's toy or a status symbol for someone trying to keep up with the Joneses.

My dream car was a BMW, and well it became a nightmare!!! I had a 318, It was so expensive to take care of my trans. went out on me and thankfully I live near Miami FL where you can find a junk yard for any kind of car I got a used trans and then my windows wouldn't roll down, fixed that, then my wipers wouldn't work, then my water pump went if it wasn't one thing it was another also not to mention the price of gas too!! you have to use mid grade or higher for these kinda cars! i was spending like $60-$80 a week on gas!
If I were you I would look more at Benz or Lexus! just my suggestion.
