It has to be about making my own make-believe country, and being the ruler of it, etc.

I'm still confused on what I can write.

And I also need name ideas for my country. I'd prefer something without my name 'natalie' in it =D

I promise, I'll choose a best answer and you'll get 10 points, I really need this.

Well, I can tell you that "Passgaseria" is probably not a good choice -- I thought that one up for a project I had to do in 7th grade, and it really bit me in the lower of my two polar extremities. We had to draw out a map too, and somewhere along the way, I had the bright idea of making it in the shape of someone's rear quadrant. Most of my classmates thought it was pretty F-in hilarious, but the teacher didn't, and neither did this Jehovah's Witness girl who went so far as to immediately demand that the teacher expell me from school (he didn't). I guess there's just something about the concept of "Passgaseria" that is particularly offensive to JWs, although for the life of me I can't figure out what.
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance, but good luck anyway, though.

There are multiple ways to do this. Many students do the 'cute country' and for you that would be Natalieland, which you seem to not want. The way to an A is to start the way any modern nation starts - either as a colony or as a new nation. Well that leaves the US as basically the new nation. So you will need a constitution - which is a statement of basic values, basic government structure, etc. There are some good resources on this - try the UN actually. As a colony, or former colony, you get the advantage of a former form of government - British for example, so you can copy their model.

Do you want more personal freedom (like the US) or more personal security - which is very strict and sometimes called a police state. I have lived in both, and they both have advantages.

For an A think about the basic rights you want the people to have (freedom of speech, religion, education, whatnot), the power you want the government to have, and create a list of rights top to bottom, and powers top to bottom. There is your constitution - or at least a start. This assignment is all about rights, power, and responsibilities.

well, my buddy and I have a fake land (we joke about at work) called Dremaway(not dreamaway).(long story short we named it while he was 'drumming away' on his desk) anyways, we say there are people there and I am the ruler. there are bad guys like the 5 head (instead or forehead) (this is a co-worker) and the evil lurch that lives in the caves...I have to stop there, hopefully I dont get in trouble for this one ...hehehe ;) good luck w/your paper!
