Because our world economy is organized around burning fossil fuels.

It will take years to get alternatives to fossil fuel powered cars, factories, and power plants developed, built, and operating. It will be very expensive.

But we need to do it. The effects of global warming would be much more expensive to deal with.

IT's not a problem for everyone. Some people think the world will be destroyed by global warming.
But many people doubt that such a catastrophe will happen.

Becuase of money.

I hope you enjoy your computer that uses electricity,...
...electricity that comes from Power Plants fueled by coal and radiation.

...not to mention that the computer is made of plastic, chemicals, ect. ...which was made in a factory that puffs out toxic smoke.

All I can say is, Welcome to the party!
Why hasn't the problem been fixed?

Global warming is only a theory. It is difficult to fix what isn't actually broken.
