There is a big difference between tutoring and doing it for them. These kids will never learn how to do it or pass the exam if you keep doing it for them.

Trust me, your not helping or impressing any one.

I try not to. When I give homework 'answers,' they are usually along the lines of hints to help people think about what they are doing.

Thanks for bringing this up, though.

There's a huge difference between showing someone -how- to do a problem and working their homework for them. Yeah, sure, some kids have 15 or 20 questions posted within the space of 20 minutes and it's obvious they're watchin' TV or gettin' a little head while waiting for someone else to do their HW. But most people around here just blow 'em off or tell 'em to do their own HW.

It's actually pretty easy to spot the ones who really do need help and the ones who just want it done for them.

Omg god I praise u hun!!!!!!!! People now a days are so dumb they have to use the internet for homework help. Or stupid questions, people are so dumb now I can't believe it. Those kids should ask the teachers for help. We can't give them the answers this is why kids in high school score low on their test and test scores have plummeted in the last 11 years. They can ask for help after school or get a tutor.

Are you a teacher?

Do you have any experience teaching?

Actually many of the explanations here are very helpful and help these kids to undestand the material rather than being thoroughly puzzled by it and falling behind.

In my opinion you do not know what you are talking about.

Would you rather the students go into class without understanding the material? Obviously they did not understand it when the teacher explained it to them so maybe they'll get when someone else explains it.
