Yes I believe they can. But I don't think that because they can run a household that they can automatically run for Congress or the Presidency. Those are two vastly different things. I don't see why a woman couldn't be President or a Congress woman as they are human just like anyone else.

Women are only physiologically, physically and mentally different, but that doesn't make them less human like men. I mean, if men have unique characters and talents, why should women be any different? They can be emotional because of their nature, but they usually rise up to the occasion to be the best they can be when the situation calls for it. The advantage that they have over men is the fact that they are in touch with their emotions which make them sensitive. Generally, this sensitive nature makes them very sincere and honest with their intentions as opposed to men who can be very tactless and egotistical. If there aren't any women who can't make a difference then there wouldn't be a "Princess Diana" or a "Hillary Clinton" or a " Gabriela Silang" who have made a lot of difference that have shaped each of their countries in their own unique and effective way.

Yes. Women have proved throught the years to be godo leaders from small jobs and big jobs. They corrected us as mothers, teachers and bosses. Most people denyt women do to the stereotypical emotions women are often associated with. All decisons are based on feelings wether it be a man or woman. Why should women have to be contradicted becuase of this?

There are three type's of leaders out there.
1. The leader who was born with the qualities and skills of a leader.
2. The leader who rose up because no one else would step up to the plate.
3. The leader who wants to be a leader...a wannabe.
The first leader is the most powerful and effective leader you can follow. It comes natural to them and seeing how they are born with it, is not restricted to gender.
The second leader is effective but not as much as the first. Theirs is a learned behavior rather than a natural quality. Again not restricted by gender.
The third leader....who really wants to follow a a wannabe leader anyway. They desire to have people under them and to run thing as they want. They lack the skill and organization of a true leader. Looking out for themselves, they tend to neglect their followers....where usually leader two rises up and a mutiny soon follows. Again can be male or female.
So yes women can most defiantly be leaders.

While serving a tour in the Marine Corps I had the privilege and honor of serving with and for some of the most amazing, hard working, decisive, and gifted women I have ever met. These women were hard-chargers and had to put up with a lot of unnecessary BS from plenty of people but did so with grace, tact, and dignity. So yes, plenty of women are capable of being good leaders. Semper Fi, Lady Devil Dogs!! Ooooorah!

A leader of what? I think a large portion of women are the decision makers of their house holds, a large percentage of teachers are women (who have to be leaders), there are a growing number of female government leaders. So, yes. I would say women are capable of being great leaders.

All decisions are based on some sort of emotion. I believe that women in general would make good leaders. Just not Hillary Clinton.

Even though the US hasn't been capable of electing a woman president, women have been elected by millions of people world-wide to lead their countries.
Men have been elected to run countries in spite of their difficulties with controlling their emotions, such as anger and rage.
Any other gender stereotypes you'd like to share with us?

Of course women can be good leaders, in at least the same percentages as men who can be good leaders. This is assuming that men and women who *want* to be leaders are given equally effective training, and that the voices of men and women are valued equally in the commercial, non-profit, and/or governmental workplace.

Yes, I do. A woman who truly wants to be a good leader knows to keep her emotions as under control as possible. There aren't too many women out there who want to be followers.
