ADDED:
In 1991 the freon/refrigerant used was R-12.
In 1996 they changed to R-134a, and made the use of R-12 illegal to sell to the general public.

You may need to have your air conditioner system retrofitted for use of R-134a.

Expect a cost of around $600 for the retrofit.

What put in to refill ac 91 sho? R-12 freon. Cost lots money, because you have to check for worn parts and leaks that can occur on this year of vehicle.

you need some pag oil 150. get a recharge kit with the new adapters that convert from r-12 to 134. if you have r-12 still inside your lines you need to get them vacumed down.
