I never do.
Keep that positive attitude to beat any urges.

i am a recovering addict also. most people i meet actually seem to think more of me. i guess because of all i went through and pulled myself out of. people will give you a chance when you respect yourself. one day at a time.
i put in the source box 'recovering addict/alcholic alot, depending on the question and everybody always has something nice to say. i understand that once an addict, always an addict. recovery is a lifelong process and nothing in your life is going to change unless you change it. i admire you.

No, actually I think more of them. The recovery process is tough, and being addicted is tough. What you went through while you were doing whatever your addicted to is tough. The consequences you are now "owning up to" from using is tough. Someone who is in recovery and working hard at staying that way deserves my respect.

No, I feel proud of the strenght it takes to do that. I know many recovering addicts. Many are just beginning their recovery and many have years under their belt. Either way I know its a tough road I feel proud of them for trying. And you should be proud of yourself no matter what anyone says. Unless someone has walked in your shoes, they have no idea. Its really easy to judge someone.

No, actually I think higher of them cause they are being responsible and taking care of themselves. Unlike some addicts who claim nothing is wrong with them and keep the addiction. Those are the people I less of.

I read just the excerpt on here and really enjoyed it. I had a picture of what was gonig on and I was wrapped up in the words. just one theng, dont change your writing style because of Twilight or anyother book - you must be unique. BUT you can always look to a favourite book and see how the author does things, I do that and it hepls me along the bits that i cant really explain. :)

I think more of people that are in recovery. The people in recovery had the strenght and courage to stand up and do something about it, I also went to N/A in my 20's, It is very hard changing your whole life around after being use to it one way. ♥j

Honestly, I think I do a smidge. Only because I have never been addicted to anything, and I don't relate to it. Not because I think they are scummy or whatever, I just don't relate well to that type of thing.

the people that look down on you because of that have no idea what you are going through. they probably get their opinions from what they see in movies and on tv. i respect you for trying to recover because most people don't have the courage to do it.
