Yes and lately its been more...I think I'm going through the "change" and my moods have been so unpredictable and I hate it...so if something isnt just right, I fly off, not meaning too and it kills me! So yes I DO apologize to my kids when I need too...It makes me feel better, not to mention making them feel better too.

I have to on a fairly regular basis!
With four of them, one or the other is often wrongly told-off for something they are guiltless of, besides every time I lose my cool if I don't want to suffer a loss of their respect also, I apologise for my behaviour in the same way as I expect them to for any inappropriate behaviour of theirs.
We NEVER go to bed with anything outstanding between us. X

Yes, and I have a few times. We are all humans, even mothers, and we make mistakes too. Therefore apologies are warranted.

Yes of course. When you are in the wrong, you should always apologise, especially to children. They learn by example.

kids are people too -- when you apologize to a child, you
teach him/her that no one (not even adults) is above
"the law" --- and yes, my children have received sincere
apologies from both of their parents.

sometimes, it's part of being human...you can't control every aspect of their lives, just try to make those aspects better!
