I'm an educator who is interested in establishing a small online school offering convenient and affordable online training solutions. Any recommendations on software to use? I remember using WebCT and beaconeducator.com to take online courses - are there any others out there? Any advice on how to get started?

All the online schools I know of had their software custom written. I'm familiar with 4 different schools.

There is a book called stating your own online Education Business from entrepreneur press. The ISBN# 978-1-599181-202 by Rich Mintzer. It cost $17.95. You can go to entrepreneurpress.com & click on ep catalog 2007. or you can try to see if it is at your local library.
