how would you feel if your child/children became addicted to something like oxycontin, heroin, or even methamphetamine? what would you do to help them?

no I'm not and i have never try even one time
now that you r a parent you life is no yours any more you r the responsible for a new human been that is gonna learn Thur you everything in this life and which parent don't want the best for their kids
so the only thing that i can tell you is that god bless you with the biggest gift , now is your responsibility to keep it safe and on the right way

I took a lot of aderol when I was younger. It was when I was 12-16. And just to clarify It was not prescribed. I got over it by myself, because no one knew. Then when I had my boys, I knew I would never go back. My husband was a meth addict before he met me. He was miserable, and also got better him self. He has been clean for 3 years. And proud. He also kicked alcohol, just to be safe.
If my children were addicts I don't know what I would do. They are so little now, it is hard to say. All I do know is I would kill mysel trying to help them quit. And I would do everything in my power to save them from that pain. Right now I am just worried what I am going to do when my son starts prechool. Ha.

I have never been addicted to drugs. If I had a family member that was I would try to help them in any way I could.

I'm a recovering addict. My worst addiction is to Crystal Meth. I've been clean for 1 year.
